BELL CANADA will scam you. Be aware!

Stay away from Bell Canada. This company scam people by billing them wrongly. The scam is simple. If you are a good client paying your bill in time you will be a victim, because they know you will pay. Let's say Bell Canada will charge you more for calls you never made. Some good people will argue, most of them will pay and continue to be their good client, only a very few will cancel the services. 175.000 people are scammed by Bell Canada every month for at least 30 dollars. Other dirty scam done by Bell is the long distance plans. Be aware with that plan, you will end up be billed for thousands of dollars. The scam works like that, they will "accidentally" stop your international calls plan and you end up making calls for $3 $4 dollar a minute until they will block your line and bill you for thousands of dollars. OK, you fight with them and in the end they win, if you don't pay they will sell your $$$ credit to the collectors. Do a simple math, 3000 people billed for $5000 each, 2000 of them are credited by Bell because it was Bell ''mistake" The rest 1000 has to pay, of course they will not pay, and all their credit is sold for $1000 each, Bell Canada makes 1 million dollar from this scam. The credit company will try to recuperate the money + the fees and so on. They will recuperate some but they are insured too. Bell Canada it is also insured. The president of the company has a million dollar salary, other high rank people the same, Bell Canada makes 2 billion dollars profits (scam included) and *** people are paying for this.

Bell Mobility scam charges | Bell Canada review

1.3
Details
Several years ago I had a Bell Mobility cell phone with a three year contract. I had the phone for approx.. 5 additional years, never used text feature at all. Out of the blue I receive text after text trivia questions so every time I flipped the phone open $2.00 I call them ame amount for all those years now its $200 more told them no way I would pay that. Lady was very rude told me its simple it will go to collections and affect my credit.Well that they did just that, sent it to collections. Monthly bill + $200 and a magical $300 for contract cancelation. After 3 years contract was up there is no longer a contract . Month to month after contract is completed, so where does there cancelation charge come from. I tried several times to pay my original normal monthly charges but I wanted the absurd charges to be removed. They would not do anything told me all of it must be paid or goes to collections. So I decided not to pay the normal monthly charges(stubborn)bad decision. I will take them to SMALL CLAIMS COURT Also will be looking for additional payment for damages to my credit. Mobility companies should be GOVERNED and laws need to be in place so they can not do this to people. LOOK ONLINE THERES HUNDREDS, THOASANDS OF PEOPLE WITH SIMULAR COMPLAINTS . This was almost 6 years ago and purchasing a home I see my credit has been affected. PISSED OFF I am still willing to pay the original monthly charges that I owe but only after they repair damages they caused

Lack of setup service | Bell Canada review from Hamilton, Ontario

1.0
Details
I required home internet service. Called Bell Canada and setup a window for installation. The first time they didnt show up, after 4 hours of waiting. I called to find out when they were going to setup service and was told to rebook. 10 days later i setup another appointment to my surprise noone showed up, called again and a representative came ill prepared to install a wireless modem. He gave a lame excuse and instructed me to call their dispatch office through a the bell customer service phone representative. To no avail the bell representatives had no reason not to setup the service. A total of 6 hours waiting and approximately 10 phone calls later, no service. No recourse to complain, hence my message to this website. Bell Canada can not provide any service to this customer and I definitely will not ever entertain using this companies services again. No matter the cost or time, Rogers, or any other company can provide service in a timely and professional manner. What a shame to have a Canadian company that employs thousands that can not do a relatively simple task in their area of expertise. Shame on them.

Bell ripped me off !!! | Bell Canada review from Toronto, Ontario

I had an outstanding balance of $170 that I need to pay for Bell on OCT-27-2014 (Monday). I called and informed Bell that I'll make that payment on OCT-31-2014 (Friday) I also asked him to put a cancellation to the service since I decided to switch service provider. The rep agreed upon what I said; putting a cancellation in 30 days. On Friday, I received a bill for $300. When I called them back, the Bell rep told me that i got $130 extra changes for cancellation. I've never seen a company charging $130 for cancellation. I got ripped off from this Bell M$@#er F***ers. Screw Bell. I will have all my friends and families to switch away from Bell to different service providers.

Inflated internet and data charges without explanation | Bell Canada review

I have had all four services with Bell for a number of years. Not once did I ever go over my internet or data usage on my internet or cell phone. Then last month, my internet service showed a charge of $80.00 worth of overage. This was quite alarming because I had not been using the internet nearly as much as I had in the past and never went over the limit. As a matter of fact, the internet was not working very well and the service kept dropping, which frustrated me greatly, so I took a break from going on line. I called Bell's Tech Support a few times about the issues I had been having, and was even sent two new modems on two different occasions. Upon further inspection of my bill, I realized that they had changed my service (which according to them was a better service package than what I previously had). However, I pointed out to the agent that with the lesser service, I never went over, so why with a greater service would I go over? 'Particularly when I have not been using the service as much. In the past, I had spent hours on end watching movies back to back, without any overage charges. Yet now that I've hardly been on line all of a sudden I'm receiving a bill for $80.00 in overage fees with no explanation. Needless to say I was livid. Since the agent could offer me no plausible explanation to why or how this could have happened under the circumstances, I told her to cancel my account because I was not going to wait until next month for the same thing to happen again. She said she'd transfer me to the cancellation department, but instead she transfered to someone in the loyalty department. A nice gentleman appeased me by offering to credit half of the charge and give me unlimited usage for $10.00 which he said he'd waive. I accepted, his offer at the time, but now feel like I was duped because I'm still paying $40.00 for an overage that cannot be explained. To add insult to injury, I have also somehow gone over on my cell phone data plan. I've had the phone for almost three years and have never gone over, yet all of a sudden after changes they made, I'm now not accessing WiFi as well as I used to and have had to resort to using my data service more frequently. The Google Navigation App that came standard on my Galaxy SII phone once worked without having to access my data plan. However, it no longer works if my data plan is not turned on. The Google Navigator is something I've used quite frequently since having the phone. As a matter of fact, I've rarely had to use my data package because between work and home, I was using WiFi. Nothing has changed on this front.......other than whatever changes they've made to their system. Now all of a sudden, I cannot access WiFi as easily as before. It is clear to me that something(s) have changed and no one can offer me any valid explanation, other than to say that the data service is required in order for Google Navigator to work. I would like to point out however, that the same way a GPS unit can work without a data plan, Google Navigator can and has worked for years now without the use of my data plan.......that is until quite recently. I am so fed up with Bell right now. None of their services are working very well and is a source of agrivation for me. Some days my landline phone has a dial tone, from anywhere between a few hours to a day or two. Then magically the dial tone returns. The Satelite service is very unreliable as well. I'm really not sure what's going on with Bell, but I'm not very pleased with their services and am currently looking for another provider, but will also be sending a letter of complaint to the head office. They've done the very same thing with my mother with no remorse of compassion for a 70 something year old woman on a fixed pension and no computer. She was over charged because she naively signed up for the FIBE network without any idea about the internet service. However, even after the first big charge, they said they'd set the internet service so it could only be used for the FIBE network. Next thing she knew, she got another outrageous bill that she had to pay. It ultimately resulted in her service being cut and her being charged a reconnection fee. Bell really needs to get their act together before they lose all of their customers.

UBELIEVABLE!!!

I had similar experiences with Bell. Charged for internet I never had, charged for overage I never incurred.

Of course, I did not pay an account I did not owe...then what? they sent it to COLLECTIONS!! After 6 months of complaints going to the highest level...the charges were finally reversed.

AND I insisted on a letter of apology.

Bell Canada is an embarrassment to Canadians!

The Government has to do something about this | Bell Canada review from Thornhill, Ontario

Worst customer resolution. Every month my bill comes with additional charges and every month I phone and complain. Service charges change randomly and every month I need to phone and argue for hours on end. Bell Canada have no idea what they are doing and are money grabbing. We all have to complain about Bell. The Government has to do something about this. Every month new charges. How is this possible. We have a contract and they can change their prices randomly and whenever they feel fit. Customer retention guy named Dylan says he is the highest authority and with no customer resolution agreed to cancel our services after being a customer for 20 years. Look at the amount of unhappy customers on their Facebook page. They do not even try and resolve issues. why are Canadians so complacent. if everyone cancelled their Bell services perhaps they would offer a better service.

I so agree I had similar issues twice with bell...with home services and a cell phone that they sent me and it was never even activated...it was returned to them 2 days later...the bills kept coming, hours with customer service...it has now been in 3 different collection companies...they will never get a penny and they lost a loyal customer...bell needs to pay back everyone they ripped off and they should be shut down

It has been a safety issue for two years now with two different utility companies: Rogers Cable and Bell Canada. The problem is that both of their lines over hang my swimming pool in my back yard and neither utility has wanted to remove their lines because they don't...

In my experience, Bell Canada lies and cheats customers.

I was offered by the loyalty team a special rate. After 5 months I am still waiting for that to happen. Not to mention that I 've been calling them every month, wasting my time and they keep promising things they don't commit. I decided to cancel my services ,I am tired of being cheated. I am paying more than a new customer. This is absurd. Now they want me to pay one more month with increased rates. They only tell you lies to keep charging you more and more . That is the way they treat loyal customers. The loyalty department is a fraud .Stay away from this company.I will never recommend anyone to sign in for Bell services.

I've been a Bell 3-service customer for 30 years.

Been lied to many times.

I typed "Bell Canada lies" into my search engine and found I had many 'friends'.

My family loves television so I haven't risked switching to a different company....don't want any disruptions......but OH YEA they are lying crooks

Bell Canada - Service Billing Review from Kitchener, Ontario

Just received newest billing. I have 3 services cell, tv, internet. I downgraded my tv service to basic pkg apr 22. The more expensive pkg was still billed me. I called them the rep said billing is 1 month in advance. He tell me the adjustments on next bill. Literally 2 months after I changed pkg. They cannot do anything. In todays age everything is changed and updated at the end of your finger to a keyboard. Bell who is at the heart of this availability takes 2 months to update ur changes to reflect on billing. Pathetic. It is the latest in strings of customer service failures I have experienced in canada since moving from the usa. I totally am disappointed with the money grab. Yet they constantly want you to upgrade. Lol. Money grab and contracts thats the motto within bell.
